Keegan Murray is motivated to improve throughout the Summer League

As the Summer League competition gets begun in California, the No. 4 overall draft pick for 2022 has already demonstrated significant promise in brief bursts. “I get my inspiration from within. I’m not really concerned about other people and anything like that. I’m simply wanting to grow better and be the greatest version of myself,” the player says.

Murray displayed two distinct sides of himself throughout the course of two games at the Chase Center at the 2022 California Classic. Murray demonstrated his efficiency as a scorer (26 points) in the Kings’ 86-68 victory over the Warriors on Saturday, shooting well from the field (10-for-14) and beyond the arc (4-for-5 on 3-pointers). Murray had issues with both his ball handling and overall shooting in Sacramento’s 81-64 victory over the Heat on Sunday (4-for-15 overall, 1-for-7 from outside the arc) (six turnovers). The Kings have a lot of faith in Murray, who despite his stature has an incredible ability to pass, dribble, and shoot.
