Baseball Picks: Division Leaders meet on Sunday as the Los Angeles Dodgers visit the Milwaukee Brewers on TBS

Baseball Betting:  The Los Angeles Dodgers visit the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday in a matchup of division leaders on TBS.  The Dodgers will be favored in this one as they are expected to have Clayton Kershaw on the mound.  Kershaw remains the best pitcher in the league and the Dodgers have been nearly unbeatable when he is on the mound. The Brewers will likely be going with Jimmy Nelson in this game.  Here is a look at the matchup and baseball picks.

Clayton Kershaw

The Dodgers ace actually looked mortal last time out as he allowed three runs against the Angels.  Even though he gave up some runs and didn’t have his normal great control, he still was dominant late in the game and the Dodgers won the contest in the 9th inning.  Kershaw is 13-2 on the season with a 1.82 ERA.  His numbers are simply outstanding as he has allowed just 92 hits in 128.1 innings and he has struck out 157 batters and walked just 17.

Jimmy Nelson

The Brewers right-handed has been solid lately with three straight quality starts. He is 2-2 on the season with a 4.20 ERA. He had one bad outing against the Cardinals but since then he has been really good. He has thrown a combined 20 innings in his last three starts with a 1-1 record and a 3.60 ERA.

Game Notes

The Brewers had won six of the last 10 in this series before it began with three of the last four going under. The teams had not played since May of last season when the Dodgers took two of three in Milwaukee.  Four of the last five in Milwaukee have gone under. The Dodgers have actually been a better team on the road this season than at home as they won 34 of their first 57 road games.  And they have been a good team to bet under with 33 games going under, 21 going over with three pushes.

Baseball Picks

We’ll look for the Dodgers to get this win on the road and for the game to go under the total.
