NBA Daily Fantasy Cheatsheet Tuesday Advice: Roll With Reggie

Here is your important NBA Daily Fantasy Cheatsheet Tuesday Advice to consider for tonight’s NBA action. There are only four games on the NBA schedule for Tuesday, and while that means fewer options to choose from in Daily Fantasy Leagues, it also means an excellent chance to make some serious money if you have the optimal lineup in place.

Weak Defense To Target: Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers are 2-16 on the road this season and that includes giving the Philadelphia 76ers their only win of the season. It’s safe to say they will be tough when they visit the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night. The Lakers rank 29th in the NBA with an average of 107.2 points allowed per game this season and that makes it worth considering at least a couple of Denver players, including Will Barton, who leads the Nuggets with an average of 21.3 points per game over the past week. He’s also chipping in 7.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.8 three-point shots. The Nuggets will be entering the game on a two-game losing streak, but their offense has been cooking of late. They’ve averaged 110 points per outing over their last five so you should be firing up all sorts of Nuggets in this one.

Player Who’s Hot Right Now: Reggie Jackson, Detroit Pistons

Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson is the only NBA player with a higher points per game average than the 29.3 mark that belongs to Jackson over the past week of action. Considering the type of attention that Thompson has been receiving, it’s impressive that Jackson is lighting it up and still getting so little credit in the process. Jackson has done an excellent job of stuffing the stat sheet across the board during that span while averaging 29.3 points, 7.7 assists, 6.3 rebounds an 1.0 three-point shot per game over the past seven days. He doesn’t have a great matchup on Tuesday as he’s facing the Miami Heat, but given how he’s played recently, don’t expect him to slow down in this spot.

Injuries & Rest Create Opportunities For… Matt Barnes, Bismack Biyombo

The Memphis Grizzlies continue to search for the right mix in order to turn things around after struggling early on, and lately it has been Matt Barnes that has benefited from the increased opportunity, playing upwards of 30 minutes per game over the last week. Barnes has averaged 13.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.3 steals, 2.0 three-point shots and 1.5 blocks per game over that span and is worth targeting as a value bargain play with the Grizzlies set to visit the Philadelphia 76ers.

Meanwhile, Bismack Biyombo has done an excellent job stepping up for the Toronto Raptors with both Jonas Valanciunas and DeMarre Carroll sidelined. Alot of people figured that Anthony Bennett would be the sneaky free agent find that would help the Raptors front court, but it’s instead a different former lottery pick. Biyombo should be another strong sleeper play for Tuesday’s slate as he’s averaged 6.0 points, 14.8 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game over the past seven days. The rebounds are coming at an incredible pace for him and, while the points are light, he’s giving you so much in rebounding and blocks that he has to be considered for daily fantasy.

Highest Scoring Game Of The Night: DET @ MIA

There isn’t a single team in action on Tuesday night that ranks in the top 10 of points per game this season. However, the Pistons are battling for a playoff spot this year while the Heat are in the mix near the top of the Eastern Conference standings, so they should combine for a strong offensive effort. Andre Drummond, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Marcus Morris are strong options for Detroit if you can’t afford Jackson while Gerald Green and Luol Deng offer sneaky fantasy value for Miami. Of course, the Heat do have some higher-priced weapons that you can lean on as well.
