Charlotte Hornets – Denver Nuggets Preview – 01.10.2016

The Denver Nuggets will host a showdown against the Charlotte Hornets at the Pepsi Center. Action begins at 8:00 pm ET on Sunday, Jan. 10 and can be seen on NBA, AL2 and FxS.

The Nuggets are expecting a better outcome after their 91-84 loss to the Grizzlies on Friday. Danilo Gallinari was the game’s leading scorer with 29 points. The Hornets, meanwhile, are feeling some disappointment after their 97-83 loss against the Clippers on Saturday. Jeremy Lin led the game in scoring with 26 points.

Gallinari has taken his game to another level over the last five games for the Nuggets. During that stretch, he has averaged 25.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 0.8 steals, and 1.8 three-pointers.

Meanwhile, Charlotte ranks second in the NBA at corralling defensive boards with a defensive rebound percentage of 79.6%.
