Army Black Knights – Lafayette Leopards Preview – 02.03.2016

Expect a low-scoring game when the Army Black Knights (12-10) and Lafayette Leopards (5-15) collide at Kirby Sports Center. Action begins at 7:00 pm ET on Wednesday, Feb. 3.

The Leopards are hoping to rebound after their 84-77 loss to Loyola Maryland on Saturday. Monty Boykins was the game’s leading scorer with 18 points. The Black Knights, meanwhile, are feeling some disappointment after their 64-50 loss against Navy on Monday. Larry Toomey played well for Army, recording nine points and six rebounds.

This is the second game of the year between these two teams, with the Leopards winning the first matchup 76-73. Despite the loss, Tanner Plomb had a standout performance with 20 points, five rebounds, three assists, two steals, and four three-pointers.
