Navy Midshipmen – Loyola Maryland Greyhounds Preview – 02.10.2016

The Loyola Maryland Greyhounds (8-15) welcome the Navy Midshipmen (16-9), the Patriot League’s best team, to Reitz Arena. The game starts at 7:30 pm ET on Wednesday, Feb. 10.

The Greyhounds won a close one over Army 100-99 on Saturday. Jarred Jones had 28 points, seven rebounds, and two steals for Loyola Maryland. The Midshipmen are coming off a tough 58-55 loss to Colgate on Saturday. Tilman Dunbar posted 13 points, three rebounds, and three assists.

Jones has been playing at a high level as of late for the Greyhounds, averaging 17.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.8 steals, and 0.8 blocks over the last five games.

This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams. The Midshipmen won the first game 60-52. Will Kelly was a top performer in the victory with four points, seven rebounds, two assists, one steal, and six blocks.
