The Campbell Fighting Camels (8-15) will try to put an end to their 10-game skid when they take on the Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs (13-12) at John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center. Action begins at 7:00 pm ET on Thursday, Feb. 11.
The Fighting Camels are hoping to rebound after their 81-71 loss to UNC Asheville in their last matchup. D.J. Mason had a solid performance, recording 17 points, three assists, and two steals for Campbell. The Runnin’ Bulldogs, meanwhile, are coming off a 69-66 win against Presbyterian in their last game. Harold McBride claimed his first double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 assists.
This is the second game of the season between these two teams, with the Runnin’ Bulldogs winning the first matchup 71-68. Tyrell Nelson put up a double-double in the victory with 27 points and 16 rebounds.
