The Pac-12’s top team will be on the road when the No. 11 Oregon Ducks (20-5) head to Maples Pavilion to challenge the Stanford Cardinal (11-11). Action begins at 4:00 pm ET on Saturday, Feb. 13 and can be seen on PAC.
The Cardinal are hoping to rebound after their 62-50 loss to Oregon State on Thursday. Rosco Allen was the team’s leading scorer with 12 points. The Ducks, meanwhile, are feeling some disappointment after their demoralizing 83-63 loss against California on Thursday. Chris Boucher had a good game for Oregon, registering 11 points, six rebounds, and two steals.
Boucher has been hot for the Ducks, averaging 13.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.0 steal, 3.6 blocks, and 1.6 three-pointers over the past five games.
This is the second game of the season between these two teams, with the Ducks winning the first matchup 71-58. Dillon Brooks put up a double-double in the victory with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
The Cardinal have gone 11-11 Straight Up (SU) and 7-12-1 Against The Spread (ATS). Over their last 10 games, they have had success covering the spread (8-2). The Cardinal have seen an uptick in scoring as of late, averaging 79.9 points during the last 10 games compared to their season average of 69.5 points per game.
As for their opponent, the Ducks have records of 13-8-1 ATS and 20-5 SU. Oregon has not performed well ATS during its last 10 games, earning a 2-7-1 record. Offensively, the Ducks have really sputtered in the last 10 games. Their season average has fallen to 77.5 points per game after averaging only 66.0 during that stretch. The Ducks average 68.0 points allowed per game, but have damaged those numbers in the past 10 games, allowing 73.9 points per game during that span. Blocking shots is an area where Oregon has excelled. The Ducks average 6.1 blocks per game, making them one of the best in the nation.
The Ducks’ win over Stanford in their last clash bumped their SU record over their most recent meetings to 6-4. With a 6-4 record, the Ducks also have the advantage ATS. Stanford held the advantage in field goals, rebounds, and three-pointers once in the last five matchups. On the other side of the court, Oregon never accomplished this feat in that span.
