Wyoming Cowboys – Boise State Broncos Preview – 02.13.2016

The Wyoming Cowboys will be at Taco Bell Arena to play the Boise State Broncos in a Mountain West matchup. The game starts at 4:00 pm ET on Saturday, Feb. 13 and will air on CCS.

The Broncos were beaten by Colorado State 97-93 on Wednesday. Mikey Thompson was one of the best players for the Broncos, finishing with 20 points, seven assists, and four steals. The Cowboys are coming off an 84-65 win over Utah State on Saturday. Josh Adams stood out, posting 19 points, seven assists, and six rebounds.

Second-chance opportunities are expected to be few and far between for the Cowboys in this contest. They rank 351st in the nation in offensive rebounding (OR% of 18.1%), while Boise State is 24th-best in the nation on the defensive backboards (DR% of 75.0%).

This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams. The Broncos won the first game 81-71. Jason McManamen was a top player in the game with 25 points, eight rebounds, and three three-pointers.

The Broncos enter the game with records of 16-9 Straight Up (SU) and 10-12-1 Against The Spread (ATS). The Broncos will be looking to pick it up in this one after recent offensive struggles. In the last 10 games, Boise State has only averaged 67.7 points per game compared to the 77.6 they’ve averaged on the season.
