Mid-Eastern foes will lock horns when the Coppin State Eagles (6-18) face off against the Delaware State Hornets (5-21) at Physical Education Complex. Action begins at 7:30 pm ET on Monday, Feb. 15.
The Eagles enter this game hoping for similar success after dismantling Howard 90-66 on Saturday. Joshua Treadwell played a pivotal role with 26 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. The Hornets, meanwhile, are coming off a 75-71 win against Maryland Eastern Shore on Saturday. DeAndre Haywood was the game’s top scorer, registering 24 points on 8-for-13 shooting.
It will be a showdown of conflicting tempos, as the up-and-down Eagles (ranked 33rd in the nation in possessions per game) will look to push the slow-paced Hornets (274th in possessions per game).
