Southeastern Louisiana Lions – McNeese State Cowboys Preview – 02.15.2016

It will be a battle between Southland opponents when the McNeese State Cowboys (6-16) welcome the Southeastern Louisiana Lions (6-18) to Burton Coliseum. The game gets underway at 9:00 pm ET on Monday, Feb. 15.

The Cowboys were beaten by Northwestern State 87-78 on Saturday. Jamaya Burr was the team’s high scorer, contributing 21 points. The Lions, meanwhile, are coming off a 69-61 win over Nicholls on Saturday. Dimi Cook played well for Southeastern Louisiana, accumulating 15 points, three rebounds, and three assists.

This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams. The Lions won the first game 82-80. Despite the loss, Jarren Greenwood was a top performer in the game with 28 points, three rebounds, four assists, two steals, and five three-pointers.
