UNC Asheville Bulldogs – Presbyterian Blue Hose Preview – 02.18.2016

The Presbyterian Blue Hose (8-17) are currently on a seven-game losing streak and will take on the UNC Asheville Bulldogs (17-9) at Ross E. Templeton P.E. Center. The game gets underway at 7:00 pm ET on Thursday, Feb. 18.

The Blue Hose got blown out by Campbell 91-61 the last time they played. DeSean Murray was the game’s high scorer, contributing 20 points. The Bulldogs are coming off a tough 60-59 loss to Radford in their last outing. Dwayne Sutton had a good shooting night, leading the team with 16 points.

The inefficient offense of Presbyterian (318th in the nation with an offensive efficiency of 96.2) will square off against the stingy defense of UNC Asheville (25th in the nation with a defensive efficiency of 95.4). The Bulldogs figure to have the advantage on that end of the court.

This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams. The Bulldogs won the first game 67-55. Sam Hughes was a standout player in the game, producing 13 points, three rebounds, four assists, four steals, and one block.
