Elon Phoenix – Towson Tigers Preview – 02.20.2016

The Towson Tigers (18-10) will finish out the regular season when they challenge the Elon Phoenix (15-13) at SECU Arena. The game gets underway at 2:00 pm ET on Saturday, Feb. 20.

The Tigers lost a close one to Hofstra 84-82 on Thursday. Mike Morsell had a good game for Towson, putting up 13 points, eight assists, and three rebounds. The Phoenix, meanwhile, are coming off an 81-76 win over Drexel on Thursday. Tanner Samson shot 5 for 8 and led in scoring with 19 points.

Over the last five games, Morsell has been playing at a high level for the Tigers. During that stretch, he has averaged 16.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.2 steals, 1.2 blocks, and 1.4 three-pointers.
