Loyola Chicago Ramblers – Drake Bulldogs Preview – 02.27.2016

The Loyola Chicago Ramblers (14-15) visit Drake to take on the Bulldogs (6-23) in a game that has the potential to be low-scoring. Action begins at 2:00 pm ET on Saturday, Feb. 27 and will air on ES3.

The Bulldogs are hoping to rebound after their 61-52 loss to Missouri State on Wednesday. Ore Arogundade was the team’s high scorer with 16 points. The Ramblers, meanwhile, are coming off an ugly 76-54 loss to Wichita State on Wednesday. Montel James had a solid game, accounting for his sixth double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Half-court execution will be of utmost importance when two of the nation’s slowest-paced teams square off. Drake ranks 311th in possessions per game (66.1), while Loyola Chicago is 328th (65.4).
