Bradley Braves – Indiana State Sycamores Preview – 02.27.2016

The Indiana State Sycamores (13-16) will try to put an end to their six-game skid when they meet the Bradley Braves (5-25) at Hulman Center. Action begins at 2:00 pm ET on Saturday, Feb. 27 and can be seen on ES3.

The Sycamores are hoping to rebound after their 66-44 loss to Northern Iowa on Wednesday. Brenton Scott was the team’s high scorer, recording 12 points. The Braves, meanwhile, are feeling some disappointment after their 67-55 loss against Evansville on Tuesday. Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye had a good game for Bradley, registering 11 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists.

Second-chance opportunities are expected to be few and far between for the Braves in this contest. They rank 312th in the nation in offensive rebounding (OR% of 24.9%), while Indiana State is 26th-best in the nation on the defensive backboards (DR% of 74.8%).

This is the second game of the season between these two teams, with the Braves winning the first matchup 63-58. Donte Thomas had a standout performance in the victory, putting up 18 points, five rebounds, one assist, four steals, and one block.
