The UMBC Retrievers will be at Lundholm Gym to take on the New Hampshire Wildcats in an America East matchup. The game gets underway at 12:00 pm ET on Saturday, Feb. 27.
The Wildcats lost to Vermont 73-67 on Wednesday. Jacoby Armstrong had a good game for New Hampshire, contributing 15 points, eight rebounds, and one block. The Retrievers, meanwhile, are coming off an 80-79 win over Binghamton on Wednesday. Jairus Lyles shot 10 for 18 and led in scoring with 25 points.
Second-chance opportunities are expected to be few and far between for the Retrievers in this contest. They rank 309th in the nation in offensive rebounding (OR% of 25.1%), while New Hampshire is second-best in the nation on the defensive backboards (DR% of 77.5%).
