Houston Cougars – Tulane Green Wave Preview – 03.11.2016

The No.2-seeded Houston Cougars (22-8) and Tulane Green Wave (11-21) meet in the second round of the AAC tournament at the Amway Center. Action begins at 7:00 pm ET on Friday, Mar. 11 and can be seen on ESU and ES3.

The Cougars come into this game hoping to repeat their last performance, topping Cincinnati 69-56 in their last matchup. Damyean Dotson was a key piece with 13 points and seven rebounds. The Green Wave, meanwhile, are coming off a 65-63 win against UCF in the 1. Cameron Reynolds had a good game for Tulane, registering 12 points, four rebounds, and one steal.

Dotson has taken his game to another level over the last five games for the Cougars. During that stretch, he has averaged 18.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 3.4 three-pointers.
