CFL Betting: The Hamilton Tiger-Cats visit the Montreal Alouettes in Week 11 action. There are four games set for this week in the CFL beginning with Friday’s contest between British Columbia and Ottawa. There is one game on Saturday with Calgary at Edmonton and two games on Sunday as Hamilton visits Montreal while Saskatchewan visits Winnipeg. Here is a look at the four games and CFL picks.
Friday, September 5th
British Columbia Lions at Ottawa RedBlacks
This could be the week that the Lions go with Travis Lulay at quarterback. Kevin Glenn has led the team to a 5-4 record but Lulay is the established starter. The RedBlacks have been a mess all season as they rank last in scoring and last in points allowed. We’ll look for the Lions to get the road win.
Saturday, September 6th
Calgary Stampeders at Edmonton Eskimos
The Stamps are leading the West with the best record in the CFL. They have won and covered their last four games. They have the top defense in the league and seven of their nine games have gone under. The Eskimos should get Mike Reilly back this week and he will make a big difference. We’ll take the home team in this one.
Sunday, September 7th
Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Montreal Alouettes
The Tiger-Cats are just a game out of the lead in the East and they look better with Zach Collaros at quarterback. The Alouettes finally have a reliable starter of their own at quarterback in Jonathan Crompton. The Tiger-Cats are 9-4 against the CFL betting odds in their last 13 road games but the Alouettes are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. East. We’ll go over the total in this one in CFL picks.
Saskatchewan Roughriders at Winnipeg Blue Bombers
The Roughriders are 3-point road favorites in this one. The Roughriders have won six straight since they started 1-2. They have scored 35 points or more in three straight. This is almost a must-win game for the Bombers if they hope to stay in contention in the tough West Division. We’ll look for a big Winnipeg effort and a home win.
