For those of us who followed the Pac-12 this season, the idea that Oregon could be a national title contender slowly settled in with each additional road win, each additional domination of a supposed top team in the conference.
When the Ducks earned a one-seed on Selection Sunday, the rest of the country was forced to ask themselves whether or not they believed. While it took some time, it seems like people are ready to buy-in as well.
Tried to tell everyone about Oregon. Ducks have seized a rare opportunity on a national stage tonight.

The variety of ways that Dana Altman’s team can kill you is what makes them so dangerous. One of the constants, though? The play of Dillon Brooks.
Brooks dropped 22 points, six assists, and five rebounds against Duke on Thursday night, reminding people why he was considered the frontrunner for Pac-12 Player of the Year before Jakob Poeltl and Utah made a late run to finish second in the conference standings.
For Oregon to reach the Final Four and take the next step towards a title, they’ll need to get through Oklahoma on Saturday afternoon.
