New York Yankees – Toronto Blue Jays Preview – 04.12.2016

In the first of a three-game series between the Toronto Blue Jays (3-4) and the New York Yankees (3-2) at the Rogers Centre, Aaron Sanchez (0-0, 1.29 ERA) and Masahiro Tanaka (0-0, 3.18 ERA) get the start. The game gets underway at 7:07 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Apr. 12 and will air on RSN and YES.

In his last start, Sanchez pitched 7.0 innings, giving up one run and striking out eight in a 3-2 loss to the Rays. Josh Donaldson (.310 ) continued his hot start Sunday, going 2 for 4 with two runs, one home run, and one RBI. The Yankees were also unsuccessful the last time Tanaka pitched. He had a good outing, pitching 5.2 innings, allowing two runs, striking out four and walking one in a 5-3 loss to the Astros. Starlin Castro (.450 ) has been hitting the ball well to start the season for the Yankees, going 2 for 4 Saturday with one run.
