Houston Rockets – Minnesota Timberwolves Preview – 04.11.2016

James Harden and the Houston Rockets travel to Minnesota to take on Andrew Wiggins and the Timberwolves at the Target Center. The game gets underway at 8:00 pm ET on Monday, Apr. 11 and will air on RSW and FNo.

The Timberwolves edged the Trail Blazers 106-105 on Saturday. Karl-Anthony Towns was the team’s high scorer with 27 points on 13-for-20 shooting. The Rockets, meanwhile, are coming off a 130-110 win over the Lakers on Sunday. Harden had a good game and claimed his 23rd double-double of the season, posting 40 points and 13 assists.

Over the last five games, Wiggins has really been playing well for the Timberwolves. During that stretch, he has averaged 24.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.2 three-pointers.

The Rockets have won both contests against the Timberwolves this season, including a 116-111 victory in their last matchup. In the loss, Towns had a double-double with 32 points and 11 rebounds.

They are scoring 18.8 points per game off turnovers, which ranks third in the league.
