The Cleveland Cavaliers have advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals with eight straight wins through the first two rounds of the playoffs. Their opponent in the next round will have already played 14 games in the postseason by the time they meet. The Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors will compete in their second Game 7 of these playoffs when they meet north of the border on Sunday. The fact that it is the only game on the schedule will make it that much more important to hit on every single pick and we have taken the time to break down the best possible roster. Here is a look at the best NBA fantasy options on the board if you’re playing the Sunday-Monday DraftKings games.
PG: Kyle Lowry, Toronto
Salary: $8,200
Lowry has returned to All-Star form over Toronto’s last two games and the Raptors will need him to perform at an elite level again on Sunday to close out the series. Lowry has averaged 30.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 3.5 three-point shots over his last two outings and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he produced another solid stat line as a good bet to finish with the top NBA fantasy score on the board.
SG: Dwyane Wade, Miami
Salary: $8,400
Wade has been extremely productive throughout this series for Miami and all eyes will be on the veteran star to see if he can deliver another vintage performance in Game 7. Wade has averaged 21.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.0 block per game for the Heat in these playoffs and there is no doubt he will show up on Sunday.
SF: Joe Johnson, Miami
Salary: $5,800
How fitting would it be if Johnson showed up to scorch Toronto on Sunday? The veteran swingman has devastated the Raptors in the postseason in recent years and after spurning their offer to join the Heat he is in position to do it again. Johnson has averaged 12.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in these playoffs but he could easily top those averages in Game 7.
PF: Josh McRoberts, Miami
Salary: $3,100
McRoberts had been quiet throughout these playoffs up until Game 6, when he produced 10 points with five rebounds in 18 minutes off the bench for Miami. The Heat need him to deliver another efficient performance on Sunday and he is a strong value option at a relatively weak position for Sunday’s NBA fantasy tournaments.
C: Bismack Biyombo, Toronto
Salary: $6,000
Biyombo has been very effective for Toronto since Jonas Valanciunas suffered an injury and even after struggling at the offensive end in Game 6 he should be the best bet on the board at a center position that has been devastated by injuries in this matchup. Biymbo has averaged 9.0 points, 10.6 rebounds and 2.6 blocks over his last three games and it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Raptors got the ball to him on the inside early and often so that he can establish a presence on the interior.
G: DeMar DeRozan, Toronto
Salary: $7,300
DeRozan has hit 50-percent and 38-percent of his shots in each of the last two games so his point totals have improved overall with 34 points in Game 5 and 23 points in Game 6. Toronto needs both of its All-Star guards to step up and DeRozan is an obvious option here with a ton of money left over to spend on these final three positions. DeRozan has averaged 19.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game this postseason but we are banking on him shredding those averages in Game 6.
F: DeMarre Carroll, Toronto
Salary: $4,400
A wrist injury might have limited Carroll in Game 6 but he won’t hold back with the Raptors facing elimination in Game 7. Carroll has averaged 9.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.5 three-point shots per game for Toronto in these playoffs and they will be looking for him to provide a spark at both ends of the floor in this contest.
FLEX: Goran Dragic, Miami
Salary: $6,400
Dragic was undoubtedly Miami’s best player in Game 6 and there is a good chance he delivers a similar performance in Game 7 with the Heat facing elimination once again. Dragic scored 30 points with seven rebounds, four assists and two three-point shots in Game 6 and along with Lowry, Wade and DeRozan he should be a lock in every single lineup for Sunday’s NBA fantasy tournaments.
