UFC 201 Undercard Odds

UFC 201 Undercard Odds – The UFC 201 pay-per-view hits us this Saturday night from the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia with a card headlined by Robbie Lawler’s welterweight title defense against Tyron Woodley. The card features 11fights in all and most of the undercard will air on Fox Sports 2 with the evening’s opening bouts airing on the UFC’s Fight Pass.

The last of the PPV bouts sees 135-lb bantamweights face off as Francisco Rivera (11-) takes on Erik Perez (15-6) in a fight between two men struggling for consistency. Perez has been alternating wins and losses since 2012, while Rivera is trying to snap a two fight losing streak.

Light heavyweight Ed Herman is another fighter who has been alternating wins and losses for the last several years. Here, he faces 20-4 Nikita Krylov. The 24-year-old Krylov owns a nice 4-fight winning streak and he has gone 6-2 overall in his octagon career.

Welterweight sees veterans Jorge Masvidal (29-11) and Ross Pearson (19-11) meet in a fight where both men are in need of a win. For Masvidal, he continues to try and establish himself as a welter after moving up from the lightweight division. As a lightweight he was a tough out for anyone, but he seemed to lack explosiveness at times, and Masvidal could use a good showing that does not go the distance. In keeping with the theme of the evening, Pearson has not won or lost two fights in a row since back in 2013 and he lost in his last outing.

A pair of Flyweight fights appear on the UFC 201 undercard as Wilson Reis (20-) takes on Hector Sandoval (12-2) and Fredy Serrano (3-0) faces off against Ryan Benoit (8-4). Reis has gone 3-2 in the UFC after fighting at higher weight classes throughout his career. In Sandoval, he faces a gritty fighter who is on a four-fight winning streak. The catch sees Sandoval making his UFC debut, however, so first time cage jitters may be a factor. “Bam Bam” Fredy Serrano is 3-0 overall, but that includes two wins inside the distance in the UFC. At 36-years-old, the Colombian native is looking to fast track his career in the UFC. Benoit is a young fighter at 24 who has gone 1-2 in the UFC thus far.

The heavyweight match-up between Damian Grabowski (20-3) and Anthony Hamilton (14-5) is a virtual toss up at the sport books as both men are looking to get back on the winning track. Graboswski lost his UFC debut and needs to get that first win under his belt, while Hamilton has gone 2-3 with the UFC and needs to show consistency if he is going to stay with the big show.
