Baltimore Orioles – Chicago White Sox Preview – 08.07.2016

James Shields (5-13, 4.92 ERA) and Dylan Bundy (4-3, 3.05 ERA) take the hill in the last of a three-game series between the Chicago White Sox (53-57) and the Baltimore Orioles (62-47) at U.S. Cellular Field. The White Sox won the last game 4-2, and the series is currently tied 1-1. Action begins at 2:10 p.m. ET on Sunday, Aug. 7 and can be seen on CSCh and MAS2.

Shields pitched 5.0 innings in his last outing, surrendering six runs, striking out one and walking two in an 11-5 defeat to the Tigers. Melky Cabrera (.304, 46 Rs, 9 HRs, 51 RBIs, 1 SB) continued his strong play yesterday, going 2 for 4 with one RBI. Bundy went 7.0 innings, surrendering zero runs, striking out seven and walking one in a 5-1 win over the Rangers in his most recent start. Mark Trumbo (.267, 61 Rs, 31 HRs, 77 RBIs, 1 SB) went 1 for 4 yesterday with one run.

Baltimore takes on Chicago as a -130 favorite. The Over/Under (O/U) for the matchup is sitting at nine runs. The White Sox have an overall money line of -644 and a record as the underdog of 23-34.
