Boston Red Sox – Detroit Tigers Preview – 08.19.2016

Runs may be hard to come by in this one as Michael Fulmer (10-3, 2.25 ERA) and the Detroit Tigers (64-57) meet Rick Porcello (16-3, 3.30 ERA) and the Boston Red Sox (67-53) in the second of a four-game series at Comerica Park. The Tigers won the last game 1-1, and Detroit leads the series 1-0. The game starts at 7:10 p.m. ET on Friday, Aug. 19 and will air on NESN and FSDT.

In his last start, Fulmer pitched 9.0 innings, allowing zero runs and striking out nine in a 7-0 victory over the Rangers. J.D.
