Cleveland Indians – Texas Rangers Preview – 08.28.2016

Derek Holland (5-6, 4.92 ERA) and Danny Salazar (11-5, 3.90 ERA) are on the hill in the last of a four-game series between the Texas Rangers (76-54) and the Cleveland Indians (73-55) at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Holland pitched 6.0 innings in his most recent start, surrendering one run, striking out five and walking one in a 3-0 defeat to the Reds. Carlos Beltran (.288, 58 Rs, 24 HRs, 73 RBIs) continued his strong play yesterday, going 2 for 4 with one run. Salazar went 4.0 innings, surrendering six runs, striking out two and walking three in a 9-1 defeat to the Athletics in his last outing.
