St. Louis Cardinals – Pittsburgh Pirates Preview – 09.05.2016

Chad Kuhl (3-2, 3.70 ERA) and Adam Wainwright (9-8, 4.53 ERA) are on the hill in the first of a three-game series between the Pittsburgh Pirates (67-67) and the St. Louis Cardinals (71-64) at PNC Park. The Pirates come into this series in the midst of a six-game losing streak. Action begins at 4:05 p.m. ET on Monday, Sep. 5 and can be seen on ESPN, FSMW and RTPT.

Kuhl pitched 5.0 innings in his most recent start, surrendering three runs, striking out five and walking two in a 3-0 defeat to the Cubs. Wainwright went 7.0 innings, surrendering one run and striking out seven in a 2-1 win over the Brewers in his last outing.
