UFC 203 Undercard Odds

UFC 203 Undercard Odds – The UFC 203 card comes to us this Saturday from Cleveland, Ohio with a full fight card headlined by the Stipe Miocic versus Alistair Overeem heavyweight title fight.

Two lightweight and two middleweight bouts make up the main part of the undercard. Veteran Nik Lentz (26-7-2) is 10-4-1 overall in his UFC career, so he will have a wide experience advantage over his opponent Michale McBride 98-1), who is making his promotional debut. Lentz owns a pretty good overall record, and he may be better suited to the 155 lb division than at 145, where he has also campaigned. Lentz has the widest line of the evening in his favor.

The story is almost the same in the second lightweight bout as UFC veterean Drew Dober (16-7) greet Jason Gonzalez (10-2) for debut with the big show. The experience factor sees Dober a slight favorite heading into this one, however Glonzalez comes in riding a six fight winning streak that has seen him finish all of those fights, with five of those stoppages coming in the opening round.

The UFC 203 card has been getting a lot of attention, specifically because of the main card fight featuring former pro wrestler CM Punk as he debuts against novice Mickey Gall (2-0). Don’t miss our GMS review of the odds for Punk vs Gall right here.

At middleweight, two men coming off losses in the UFC face each other as Caio Magalhaes (9-2) takes on Brad Tavares (13-4). Magalhaes had a four fight winning streak in the UFC stopped with his July loss to Josh Samman by choke in the opening round, so he returns here on short notice to get back on track. Tavares at one point had run off a five fight winning streak in the UFC, but he has dropped three of his last four fights to come back to earth.

Veteran CB Dolloway (15-8) is back, and he has his back to the wall as he tries to avoid losing a fourth UFC fight in a row. He faces Francisco Barroso, who is 18-5 overall and has gone 3-2 in the UFC.

In Flyweight action, “Uncle Creepy” Ian McCall (13-5-1) faces off against Ray Borg (9-2). Borg and McCall have both gone the distance in their last several fights, and neither is on a prolonged winning streak, as Borg is 3-2 overall in the UFC and McCall is 2-3 in his last five fights. At one time, McCall handed champion Demetrious Johnson a pair of his harder fights, but he failed to build up momentum after those wins.
