Texas Rangers – Los Angeles Angels Preview – 09.11.2016

Jered Weaver (10-11, 5.37 ERA) and Colby Lewis (6-1, 3.21 ERA) start in the last of a three-game series between the Los Angeles Angels (62-79) and the Texas Rangers (85-58) at Angel Stadium. Weaver pitched 4.0 innings in his most recent start, surrendering five runs, striking out four and walking three in a 10-7 win over the Athletics. Mike Trout (.324, 110 Rs, 27 HRs, 89 RBIs, 25 SBs) had another good game yesterday, going 2 for 4 with one run, one RBI, and one stolen base. Lewis went 5.0 innings, surrendering six runs, striking out three and walking one in an 8-2 defeat to the Reds in his last outing. Carlos Beltran (.299, 68 Rs, 27 HRs, 86 RBIs) has been successful at the plate, going 2 for 5 yesterday.
