This week’s episode of 205 Live has perhaps some of the biggest moments to come in the show’s relatively short history. Neville, who returned at Roadblock: End of the Line to destroy the Cruiserweight Division, faces WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann in a non-title match. Along with a great main event, Jack Gallagher has challenged Ariya Daivari to a Gentleman’s Duel, and as always, there will be great in-ring action.
Cedric Alexander (w/Alicia Fox) vs. Tony Nese (w/Drew Gulak)
Last week, Cedric Alexander defeated Drew Gulak, but during the match Gulak would accidentally push Alexander into Alicia Fox. Fox hurt her ankle during the match, and Noam Dar (the man who wants to take Fox from Alexander) saved the day and brought her to the trainers in the back. Gulak blamed his loss last week on Alicia Fox being at ringside, so now he is at ringside supporting his ally, Tony Nese.
Alicia Fox and Drew Gulak start yelling at each other at ringside, and Gulak makes it look like Fox hit him. This convinces the referee to eject Fox from ringside, distracting Alexander in the process. This give Tony Nese time to take advantage, and a palm strike to the jaw gives the Premier Athlete another victory on 205 Live. Winner: Tony Nese
Backstage Segment
Noam Dar approaches a miffed (to say the least) Alicia Fox backstage, and holds a mistletoe above their heads, expecting a kiss. Fox slaps him, Dar tries again, and he gets slapped for a second time.
Mustafa Ali vs. John Yurnet
This is the first we have seen on John Yurnet, and it seems like he hurts himself during the match. Mustafa Ali is making a returning appearance to 205 Live, after he had a great showing against Lince Dorado (just like their match in the Cruiserweight Classic).
Ali gives a great performance against his hometown crowd of Chicago, and he puts John Yurnet away with an inverted 450 Splash. Winner: Mustafa Ali
Ariya Daivari vs. Jack Gallagher – Gentleman’s Duel
Ariya Daivari and Jack Gallagher have been feuding since 205 Live began, and now it has come to the first Gentleman’s Duel in WWE history. Weapons of choice include a frying pan, a lead pipe, a tea kettle, rope, an umbrella, and a candlestick. Unsurprisingly, Daivari goes for the lead pipe, and Gallagher goes for an umbrella. The duel starts with both men touching back, they take five paces towards the ropes, then they turn around to engage in combat.
Gallagher realizes that Daivari is going to cheat from the start, and the duel just turns into a fight. Gallagher takes Daivari out with an umbrella, and while Daivari fights back, a running dropkick to the corner sends Aryia Daivari retreating. Winner (via forfeit): Jack Gallagher

Next week, 205 Live will see the return of Tajiri, the 46 year-old Japanese Buzzsaw who was most prominent in ECW, WWE’s Attitude Era, and most recently, the Cruiserweight Classic. Tajiri, like Neville and Brian Kendrick, is a name that the WWE Universe knows that could get them to tune in to 205 Live, which is a show that is more targeted towards the hardcore WWE Universe (or the people who already attended SmackDown Live).
Rich Swann vs. Neville
Neville has had Rich Swann’s number for Swann’s entire career. The Man That Gravity Forgot took Swann under his wing and helped the current Cruiserweight Champion make his way to NXT. The two parted ways when Neville was signed to NXT, and Swann didn’t join the developmental brand until Neville was already signed to the main roster. Neville returned a couple weeks ago, and after two nights of assaulting the champion, Neville teamed up with Brian Kendrick to take out Swann and TJ Perkins in a tag match. If Neville does it one more time, his is in title contention.
Neville does the unthinkable. Not only does he pin the Cruiserweight Champion, but he pins him directly after a Superplex (which is always a “kick out at 2” kind of move). After the match, Neville attacks Swann even more, only stopping when referees surround Swann. Winner: Neville
