EPL Fantasy: Week 30 Daily Fantasy Lineup

The Premier League season continues this weekend with seven games on the schedule for Saturday. While there are plenty of options to choose from throughout the 14 lineups, it actually makes a lot more sense to make the majority of our selections from the best matchup on the board. Here is a look at the optimal lineup for Saturday’s DraftKings EPL Fantasy Leagues.

G: Thibaut Courtois, Chelsea

Salary: $5,900

Chelsea owns the most favorable matchup as they get set to take on a Crystal Palace side that is just above the relegation line. Courtois has been excellent this season and that should continue on Saturday. Chelsea should have no problem picking up the win. Courtois is a good bet to pick up the clean sheet win.

D: Gary Cahill, Chelsea

Salary: $3,500

With Courtois potentially locked in for the clean sheet win, it only makes sense to roll with Cahill at the defender position. Cahill is available at just $3.5K so he could be a strong value pick if he also picks up the clean sheet bonus.

D: Craig Cathcart, Watford

Salary: $2,700

Watford is another team with a relatively favorable matchup and that make Cathcart a strong value pick. Catchart registered a strong fantasy score in his last outing so we expect a similar performance this time around. Watford should have its way against a Sunderland side that is at the bottom of the table. At under $3K, Catchcart is a quality sleeper play that allows us to spend more money elsewhere. It’s not often that Watford makes our EPL fantasy list. They have allowed 48 goals this season. Only five teams in the Premier League have allowed more than that.

M: Willian, Chelsea

Salary: $8,300

It didn’t take long for us to go back to Chelsea’s roster with Willian an excellent play in the midfield. He won’t cost as much as some of the other top midfielders on the board but he is equally capable of producing at an elite level this weekend. Willian is the ideal midfield play since he won’t take up too much of our salary cap space.

M: Nemanja Matic, Chelsea

Salary: $3,300

Perhaps the best value play on the board is Matic. The Chelsea midfielder could play the full 90 minutes against Crystal Palace and that could mean another bonus if the Blues earn the clean sheet win. Matic is very capable of producing a strong fantasy score so he could be a sneaky good fantasy option this weekend.

F: Diego Costa, Chelsea

Salary: $9,700

After loading up on Chelsea players, it only makes sense that we lock in their best fantasy option. Costa has the potential to produce the best DraftKings score regardless of position this week. He is the most expensive forward option on the board for a reason and we definitely won’t overlook him this week. Chelsea has been one of the best team to look at for EPL fantasy in terms of offense. They have scored 59 goals as a team this season, which is the second-most only next to Liverpool.

F: Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Manchester United

Salary: $9,000

Ibrahimovic is another excellent fantasy forward option that we are more than willing to invest in this weekend. After saving a good chunk of money with Cathcart and Matic, we have more than enough money to lock in Ibrahimovic in this spot. Typically, United has been a good team to look at for defense in EPL fantasy. They’ve allowed just 23 goals so far this season – the second-fewest in the EPL. We’ll bank on one of their better offensive weapons here.

FLEX: Riyad Mahrez, Leicester City

Salary: $7,200

With just over $7K left over for our final FLEX position, Mahrez has perhaps the highest potential of the players still available. Leicester City has struggled with consistency all year but should be in a decent spot versus Stoke. Mahrez definitely seems undervalued at $7.2K, so we are comfortable taking a chance on him in this spot. Leicester City enters the week in 15th place with just 30 points on the year.
