WWE Power Rankings, Week of 6/6/17

Welcome back to the weekly Get More Sports WWE Power Rankings, where we rank the top 25 WWE Superstars based on their impact, performance, and momentum. Last week, we saw an action-packed Monday Night Raw, SmackDown Live and 205 Live with huge main events, and NXT building the future. Let’s see how this all affects the rankings.

  1. Samoa Joe (+0)
The Samoan Submission Machine has always been destined for the top, and now he’s consistently there. Samoa Joe sent a message loud and clear to Brock Lesnar by choking out his advocate, Paul Heyman. He also defeated Seth Rollins in the main event of Raw.
  2. Shinsuke Nakamura (+2)
In the main event of SmackDown Live, Shinsuke Nakamura continued to live up to the hype by defeating the United States Champion, Kevin Owens, to build momentum towards the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View.
  3. Alexa Bliss (+0)
The Raw Women’s Champion continues to stay on top of the women’s division in any way imaginable. Bliss successfully defended her title against Nia Jax this week, thanks to interference from Mickie James and Dana Brooke forcing the disqualification.
  4. Neville (+1)
After dominating Austin Aries at Extreme Rules, Neville continued his destruction of the Cruiserweight Division by retaining his Cruiserweight Championship against TJP two days later on 205 Live.
  5. Breezango (+1)
Tyler Breeze and Fandango continue to deliver hilarious episodes of The Fashion Files. This week, the New Day joined their film noir world so they could get intel on The Usos.
  6. Jinder Mahal (+4)
Before Jinder Mahal collides with Randy Orton again for the WWE Championship, he built some momentum this week. Before this week, Mojo Rawley was the only person to defeat Mahal since he’s been on SmackDown and Mahal finally got to score a victory over the Hype Bro.
  7. Roman Reigns (+5)
Even though Reigns failed to become the #1 Contender for the Universal Championship, he bounced back from that loss right away by defeating Bray Wyatt in the opening of Raw.
  8. Cedric Alexander (+5)
Since he returned to the Cruiserweight Division several weeks ago, Cedric Alexander has done nothing but win. After Noam Dar and Alicia Fox started getting under his skin, Alexander defeated Dar on 205 Live.
  9. The New Day (+2)
After only making their first appearance on SmackDown Live last week, The New Day returned to in-ring action this week against the Colons. Not surprisingly, they picked up the victory and had a post-match promo with The Usos.
  10. Sheamus & Cesaro (-3)
The new Raw Tag Team Champions showed that they ruled the division when they took on Heath Slater and Rhyno. Sheamus and Cesaro picked up a dominant victory after completely taking Rhyno out of the equation.
  11. The Miz (-9)
To kick off The Miz’s Intercontinental Championship Comeback Tour, The Miz had a huge celebration, but it was ruined by the champion’s paranoia. After attacking a guy dressed up in a bear costume, Miz attacked a grandfather clock before getting laid out by Dean Ambrose.
  12. Kalisto (+2)
Kalisto has been battling with the Titus Brand for weeks. For the second night in a row, Kalisto defeated Apollo Crews to continue his momentum.
  13. Elias Samson (+4)
It seemed like the Drifter would not be a good fit for Raw, but he has quickly silenced his critics. Dean Ambrose interrupted Samson’s song and attacked him, but Samson would gain the edge and lay out the Lunatic Fringe.
  14. Dean Ambrose (-)
Along with his confrontation with Elias Samson, Dean Ambrose singlehandedly ruined the Miz’s Intercontinental Championship celebration.
  15. AJ Styles (-)
The Phenomenal One bounced back from his surprising loss to Dolph Ziggler lost week by defeated The Showoff in a rematch on SmackDown Live. This gives Styles the slight edge going into Money in the Bank.
  16. Lana (-)
Whether you like her or not, Lana made an impact by finally arriving on SmackDown. After she was denied a spot in the first-ever Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, she got under Naomi’s skin by costing her a tag match. This would lead to Lana “earning” a Women’s Championship opportunity.
  17. The Welcoming Committee (-)
Speaking of the Women’s Ladder Match, The Welcoming Committee defeated Naomi, Charlotte, and Becky Lynch yet again to gain some momentum heading into the historic night.
  18. Rich Swann (+0)
While the former Cruiserweight Champion didn’t compete this week, WWE showed their support for Rich Swann by showing a lengthy video package featuring Swann’s career highlights over the past year.
  19. Hideo Itami (-)
Ever since Hideo Itami lost to Bobby Roode at TakeOver: Chicago, he has had a huge change in his attitude. This led to him hitting Oney Lorcan with three Go to Sleeps before even attempting the cover, and he had a confrontation with his friend, Kassius Ohno.
  20. Killian Dain (-)
SAnitY is a group known for succeeding when it has the numbers game, but when Killian Dain faced No Way Jose, Eric Young let him compete alone. Dain didn’t need the help either, showing his dominance in his victory over Jose.
  21. Heavy Machinery (-)
The Authors of Pain currently have no challengers for the NXT Tag Team Championships, but Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight are looking to change that. They were impressive in their victory last week and made it very clear where they want to go next.
  22. Lars Sullivan (-)
After getting a new name, Lars Sullivan returned to tag team action with a new partner. Sullivan’s partner ended up taking the losing fall, so Sullivan ended up assaulting him in the middle of the ring.
  23. The Big Show (-)
When Big Cass was attacked backstage, Enzo Amore needed to find a new partner. Luckily, another seven-foot tall man was around and he even joked around with Amore before their match. Of course, they would go on to win as well.
  24. Mustafa Ali (-)
After losing to TJP and Drew Gulak recently, Mustafa Ali started to turn things around by defeating Louis Valle. Gulak tried to distract him, but Ali secured the win with a roll-up.
  25. Peyton Royce (-)
In one of her best in-ring showings yet, Peyton Royce showed that she is not to be overlooked in her win against Sarah Logan.
  • New to the Rankings This Week: Peyton Royce, Mustafa Ali, The Big Show, Lars Sullivan, Heavy Machinery, Killian Dain, Hideo Itami, The Welcoming Committee, Lana, AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose
  • Kicked off the Rankings: Drew Gulak, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, Kevin Owens, Cesar Bononi, Sasha Banks, No Way Jose, Pete Dunne, Tommaso Ciampa, The Revival, The Hardy Boyz
