DIJON vs. TOULOUSE

3-Way: 1: Dijon +140; X: +240 Draw; 2: Toulouse +246 at BetDSI Sportsbook

Spread -0.5: Dijon +137; Toulouse -143

Total +2.5: Over +127; Under -133

DIJON

The Mustards have impressed their fans in the previous round of the French Ligue 1 beating Troyes at home, 3:1. It was their third victory in the last five Ligue 1 matches, and the second in a row in front of the home fans. The Mustards were trailing before the striker Julio Tavares scored the brace to upheave the match, while the winger Chang-Hoon Kwon secured the victory with his third goal of the season after a beautiful individual move in the 50th minute of the game.

Dijon is in the 13th spot of the French Ligue 1 table after the first 13 rounds with 15 points, a 17:22 goal difference, and a 4-3-6 record. They have played pretty well at home earning 10 points out of seven matches with a 9:10 goal difference and a 3-1-3 record, while on the road they have recorded one win, two draws, and three losses with an 8:12 goal difference, conceding at least a goal in each of these six away games.

The 29-year old striker Julio Tavares is a team’s leading scorer with four goals in seven appearances, the winger Chang-Hoon Kwon and a striker Benjamin Jeannot added three goals each, while the winger Naim Sliti bagged two goals in ten appearances, also adding two dishes to his name. Along with Chang-Hoon Kwom, Naim Sliti is the team’s best assist-maker.

The manager Olivier Dall’Oglio is still without the centre-back Wesley Lautoa due to a fractured leg, while all other players are ready to go, so he can field his best eleven on Saturday evening.

TOULOUSE

After two consecutive victories against Amiens and Angers, Toulouse hasn’t won in the previous three rounds of the French Ligue 1. Last weekend, they have played a nil-nil draw with the bottom side Metz in front of the home fans, and it was their second goalless draw in a row on the home soil. They took 21 shots on Metz’s goal, but only three of them went on target, so they couldn’t break the deadlock against the weakest side in the Ligue 1, even the visitors played with 10 men for the most of the match.

Toulouse is in the 10th place of the French Ligue 1 table after the first 13 rounds with 16 points, a 12:17 goal difference, and a 4-4-5 record. At home, they have recorded three wins, two draws, and one defeat with a 5:3 goal difference, while on the road they have earned just five points out of seven games with a 7:14 goal difference, and a 1-2-4 record.

The 28-year old Swedish winger Jimmy Durmaz is leading the team with three goals and one assist in eight appearances this season, and he missed a few games due to injuries. The 20-year old talented centre-back Issa Diop bagged two goals in 10 appearances, while the striker Andy Delort is a team’s top assistant with three dishes in 13 matches this season, also adding a couple of goals to his name. The 24-year old striker Yaya Sanogo, who arrived from Arsenal this summer on a free transfer, is still goalless after seven Ligue 1 apps, while the winger Max Gradel, who’s loaned from Bournemouth, netted just once in six matches so far.

The manager Pascal Dupraz is having some issues to pick up his best eleven, as Jimmy Durmaz is still suffering from a groin strain, while the centre-back Steven Fortes is having knee problems. Durmaz has played the last 15 minutes against Metz, so he should be at least on the bench.

DIJON vs. TOULOUSE – Match Prediction

Dijon is in a decent form recently, and they will try to get the third victory in the row in front of the home fans. On the other side, Toulouse wasn’t playing well on the road so far, and they will try to put on a solid defensive performance here, which could be a key factor.

MY PICK: Under 2.5 Goals (-133)

METZ vs. AMIENS

3-Way: 1: Metz +156; X: +229 Draw; 2: Amiens +233 at BetDSI Sportsbook

Spread 0: Metz -133; Amiens +134

Total +2: Over -120; Under +116

METZ

The Maroons sacked Frederic Hantz after a terrible start of the season, and the assistant coach Sylvain Marchal will lead the team in the next match against Amiens. Metz has earned the first draw of the season against Toulouse on the road in the previous round of the French Ligue 1, even they have played with 10 men since the 23rd minute when the centre-back Fallou Diagne, who’s loaned from Werder Bremen, has been sent off.

After the first 13 rounds of the French Ligue 1 Metz is sitting at the bottom of the table with just five points and a 5:24 goal difference, eight points behind Lille in the 19th spot. They have lost all six matches in front of the home fans with an awful 3:15 goal difference, while on the road they’ve managed to earn four points with a 2:9 goal difference and a 1-1-5 record.

The 29-year old striker Nolan Roux, who joined the club this summer from Saint Etienne, is toping the team’s scoring chart with three goals in 13 appearances, while the striker Emmanuel Riviere and the centre-back Fallou Diagne added one goal each. The winger Mathieu Dossevi is the team’s best assist-maker with four dishes in nine matches this season.

The temporary manager Sylvain Marchal can count on all players for the next match against Amiens, so he can field his best eleven.

AMIENS

The Unicorns are playing pretty well in the last couple of weeks, and they are undefeated for five games in a row, recording two wins and three draws in the process. They were on a tight schedule last weekend when they played two matches at home in three days, earning a draw against heavyweight Monaco, 1:1, and beating Lille, 3:0.

After the first 13 matches of the season, The Unicorns are sitting at the 12th spot of the French Ligue 1 table with 15 points, an 11:14 goal difference, and a  4-3-6 record. At home, they have earned 10 points with an 8:5 goal difference and a 3-1-2 record, while on the road they have recorded one win, two draws and four losses with a 3:9 goal difference. After a slow start of the season, The Unicorns have scored at least a goal in the previous five games.

The 24-year old striker Moussa Konate is the team’s leading scorer with three goals in 11 appearances, while the winger Gael Kakuta and the midfielder Harisson Manzala added two goals each. Gael Kakuta is the best assist-maker with three dishes in 12 matches this season, while the striker Lacina Traore, who’s loaned from Monaco this summer, made two assists in seven apps. The fans surely expect more from the 30-year old winger Serge Gakpe who scored just one goal in nine matches this season.

The manager Christophe Pelissier is certainly pleased with his team’s form recently, and he doesn’t have any injury worries among the squad, so he can pick up the best eleven for the next clash with Metz.

METZ vs. AMIENS – Match Prediction

This one is a great chance for Metz to finally get some points in front of the home fans, although the visitors are in a good form. The temporary manager could shake things a bit, so I’ll go with the home side.

MY PICK: Metz to Win (+156)
