CFL Odds: Week 18 Features Saskatchewan at Calgary

CFL Odds: The Calgary Stampeders are favored as they host the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Week 18 action. The Stampeders have the best record in the league at 13-2 so it is no surprise they are a big favorite in this game on Friday. The action is earlier this week in the CFL with two games on Friday and two on Saturday. Let’s look at all four games and CFL picks.

CFL Week 18

–Friday, October 24–

Montreal Alouettes at Ottawa RedBlacks (Alouettes -6, total 44)

The Alouettes are just 7-8 but they may end up winning the East as they look to be better than Hamilton and Toronto. The RedBlacks are terrible and already playing for next season. It is hard to see them scoring many points in this one as Montreal is playing excellent defense. We’ll look for this game to stay under the total.

Saskatchewan Roughriders at Calgary Stampeders (Stamps -10, total 47.5)

This is a huge game for Saskatchewan as they only have two games left because they have a bye next week. The problem if you like the Riders is that they are 6-20-1 against the CFL betting odds in their last 27 games in October. They are also 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Stamps are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games overall. Looking at the total, the Under is 9-4 in the Roughriders last 13 road games. The Under is 13-5 in the Stampeders last 18 games overall. We’ll follow these latest trends and go under the total in this contest.

–Saturday, October 25–

Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Toronto Argonauts (Argos -3.5, total 53)

This is the second meeting in three weeks for these two teams. Hamilton led big in their last meeting before letting up and losing. The Tiger-Cats will want revenge in this one and they may get it. This should also be a high scoring game so the over is worth a shot.

British Columbia Lions at Winnipeg Blue Bombers (B.C. -5.5, total 45.5)

The Bombers could still make the playoffs but they would need a major turnaround and it doesn’t seem likely. B.C. is simply the better team and they are coming off a bye. Laying points on the road is always risky but it is hard to make a case for taking Winnipeg.
