NBA Playoffs Recap: No. 2 Golden State vs. No. 8 San Antonio
The Golden State Warriors comfortably got a victory in the opening game of the series with the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, April 14, with a final score of 113-92. The Warriors easily covered the spread at -7.5, while the game went narrowly under the total of 205.5 points.

The Warriors controlled the tilt from the very start and won the opening quarter 28-17 and maintained the big lead as the Spurs never got close to jeopardize the hosts’ big lead.
Golden State shot 54.3% from the floor and hit 10 out of 22 attempts from downtown (45.5%), and recorded 21 more rebounds (51-30) and dominated in assists (32-19), so the Spurs didn’t have a chance on this one.
Klay Thompson led Golden State with 27 points (11-13 FG, 5-6 3PT); Kevin Durant followed him with 24 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and a couple of steals, while JaVale McGee chipped in with 15 points, four boards, and a pair of rejections. On the other hand, Rudy Gay led San Antonio with 15 points, six rebounds, and a couple of thefts; LaMarcus Aldridge scored 14 points, while Bryn Forbes contributed with 14 points and three boards.
Golden State’s odds to win the NCAA Tournament can be found at BetDSI and they are pegging the Warriors at -150, which means that Steve Kerr’s men are among the most serious contenders to lift the NBA title this year. San Antonio is +1500 to win the NBA title, and without Kawhi Leonard who is out injured, they will struggle to cope with the Warriors.
