Seattle Mariners at Cleveland Indians Betting Preview 04/28/18

The Seattle Mariners will be facing off against the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field. The game gets underway 4:10 p.m. ET and SportsTime Ohio is in line to televise this AL showdown.

Vegas is listing Seattle (+205) as the underdog to Cleveland (-225). Bettors are able to wager on the game’s total with odds posted at -105 for over 8.5 runs and -115 for under 8.5. Bettors can also wager on the game’s runline with the odds standing at -105 for the Mariners +1.5 runs and -115 for the Indians -1.5.

Brantley performed well against right-handed pitching at home last year. Across 150 such plate appearances, he slashed .323/.400/.511 (a drop from his total season line of .299/.358/.444).

The Mariners have gained 1.6 units and are 8-9 ATS when facing a right-handed starting pitcher this year. The over has hit in 12 of those games, compared to five that’ve hit the under in such games. On the other hand, the Indians have lost 3.6 units and are 7-9 ATS when facing a right-handed starting pitcher. The over’s hit in six of those games, as opposed to 10 which went under the total.
