It’s the end of the NFL line for Adam Jones. The erstwhile cornerback known as “Pacman” announced his retirement on Instagram Friday. Jones was originally a first round pick for the Tennessee Titans back in 2005. Jones spent most of his career with the Cincinnati Bengals from 2010-2017. Last year he played seven games with the Denver Broncos. He ends his career with 522 tackles, 17 interceptions, two returned for touchdowns along with five punt returns for touchdowns.
Pacman Jones' retirement takes us into the PFF vault to look at his career-high season grade of 80.4 from his 2012 season with the Bengals.
He was targeted 69 times and allowed a completion percentage of just 53.6% while recording 7 PBUs and 15 defensive stops in the process. https://t.co/nEpW5YYSNZ

Nick Bosa and Jimmie Ward hurt at 49ers OTAs
The San Francisco 49ers got off lucky with first round pick Nick Bosa. Thursday he strained his hamstring during organized team activities. Safety Jimmie Ward wasn’t as fortunate. Ward broke his collarbone and will miss the next eight weeks. Ward, since being selected in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft, has only once played a full, healthy NFL season. Last year Ward appeared in nine games with seven starts, recording 24 tackles and one forced fumble.
49ers’ first-round pick Nick Bosa has a grade-1 hamstring strain that will sideline him a few weeks, or likely to training camp.
