Last year he played seven games with the Denver Broncos. He ends his career with 522 tackles, 17 interceptions, two returned for touchdowns along with five punt returns for touchdowns.

The San Francisco 49ers got off lucky with first round pick Nick Bosa. Thursday he strained his hamstring during organized team activities. Safety Jimmie Ward wasn’t as fortunate. Ward broke his collarbone and will miss the next eight weeks.  Ward, since being selected in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft, has only once played a full, healthy NFL season. Last year Ward appeared in nine games with seven starts, recording 24 tackles and one forced fumble.
