It will be a battle between Sun Belt opponents when the Georgia Southern Eagles (13-14) welcome the Appalachian State Mountaineers (7-20) to W.S. Hanner Fieldhouse. The game gets underway at 7:30 pm ET on Thursday, Feb. 25 and will air on ES3.
The Eagles edged Georgia State 54-52 on Tuesday. Mike Hughes was the team’s high scorer with 21 points on 7-for-15 shooting. The Mountaineers, meanwhile, are coming off a 78-74 win over Troy on Saturday. Emarius Logan played well for Appalachian State, posting 17 points, two rebounds, and one assist.
