The Rockies’ Nolan Arenado has had a great career already, and he reached an early milestone Saturday with his 200th career home run, this one against the Baltimore Orioles. Arenado might one day be in the Hall of Fame, but he’ll have a long way to go to match Yastrzemski. Oh, we mean Carl Yastrzemski. There is another one now that the Giants have called up Mike Yastrzemski, grandson of the Red Sox all-time great. Elsewhere, Fernando Rodney’s long career could be over and the market for Dallas Keuchel and Craig Kimbrel is heating up again now that the MLB Draft is less than two weeks away.
Yes, he plays in Coors Field half the time, but Nolan Arenado still absolutely raced to 200 career home runs … oh, and he’s one of the best defensive third basemen in the game too.
That’s 200 homers for Nolan Arenado 👏

Congrats to Mike Yastrzemski. Something tells me he has more minor-league experience than gramps did.

Fernando Rodney has played for 10 teams in his career, and No. 11 might be around the corner soon.
“I think there’s still a little something left.”

Dallas Keuchel and Craig Kimbrel remain unsigned, and teams are clearly waiting for the MLB draft to pass early next month so they don’t lose a pick for inking a premium free agent.
A fun thing to do while wondering why your team hasn’t signed Dallas Keuchel or Craig Kimbrel is to look up the record for the draft pick compensation they’re supposedly so afraid to lose. The Mets would lose the 53rd pick. The best player picked there in 30 years is Sean Casey.

The best game of Saturday was the latest one. The Rangers scored two runs for a 2-1 lead in the top of the ninth, but the Angels weren’t done.
Jared Walsh walks it off.
