Just when it seemed like the Yankees had gained new life after tying the game in the top of the ninth inning, Jose Altuve crushed a two-run home run, along with the hopes and dreams of Yankees fans, in the bottom of the ninth to send the Astros back to the World Series.

Altuve’s walkoff was an instant classic moment in sports history, and fellow Houston athletes wasted no time celebrating. The Texans were still hyped over it before their game on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts:
The Texans are still re-living lastnight's Astros game. Look at Benardrick McKinney channel his inner Jose Altuve during pregame warm-ups 😂

J.J. Watt also did his own tribute to Altuve, early 2000’s style:

P.J. Tucker of the Houston Rockets saw it in person and he still couldn’t believe it:

Speaking of the Rockets, James Harden and Russell Westbrook had front row seats, literally, to the walkoff:

Even Austin Rivers was there. He claimed that while he doesn’t know much about baseball, the atmosphere at Minute Maid Park was incredible:
Austin Rivers went to the #Astros game last night. Gives a shoutout to Jose Altuve and says “that was clutch”.
