Baltimore Orioles vs New York Mets Preview and Prediction

Jacob deGrom (11-6, 2.02 ERA) takes the mound for the New York Mets (63-55) as they meet Kevin Gausman (2-4, 4.48 ERA) and the Baltimore Orioles (61-56) in the first of a two-game series at Camden Yards. The game gets underway at 7:05 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Aug. 18 and will air on MASN and SNY.

In his most recent outing, Gausman pitched 7.0 innings, giving up three runs, striking out eight and walking two in a 3-0 loss to the Mariners. Manny Machado (.299, 75 Rs, 25 HRs, 62 RBIs, 15 SBs) went 1 for 3 yesterday. The Mets were victorious the last time deGrom pitched. He had a good outing, pitching 7.0 innings, allowing zero runs, striking out 10 and walking four in a 3-0 victory over the Rockies.
