Bare Knuckle Boxing 9 – January 13

Bare Knuckle Boxing

Bare Knuckle Boxing takes it to the ring for the 9th edition of the fast-paced action series.

Otherwise known as BKB9, the event will take place at O2 Indigo, London on Saturday, January 13.

Tickets are still available for purchase, so if you are in the area, go get your man on! Believe me, this type of stuff is not for the faint of heart, because adrenaline is the name of the game!

As you can see by the title of the event, the American Invasion is headed to the UK this time around. Check out BKB’s Twitter feed, and you can see for yourself. Four former UFC fighters will be featured among the matches taking place at O2.

Chris “Lights Out” Lytle faces Lewis Gallant, Lytle being one of the four Americans making the trip. Lytle is nicely favored at -200 at BetDSI Sportsbook for this contest.

Let me share all of the lined matches before we get into the matches themselves.

Mickey Parker -115
Tom Ward -115

Eric Olsen -165
Scott Midgley +135

Sean George -115
Liam Cullen -115

Michael Terrill -180
Josh Burns +150

Louis Pow -190
Luca Bergers +150

Johnny Lawson -120
Tony Lafferty -110

Trevor Soko -145
Sean Donnelly +115

Chris Lytle -200
Lewis Gallant +160

James Liley -150
Anthony Lee +120

Martin Thorne -120
Haroon Khan -110

Lytle certainly has earned respect in the UFC. In fact, he was a former Cage Rage World Welterweight Champion too, despite his 31-18-5 overall MMA record. Lytle’s boxing record speaks for itself, boasting an impressive 13-1-1 record as a boxer.

At 43 years old, Lytle hasn’t fought a professional match since 2011, but he is more then ready to return.

Gallant has had a rough start to his amateur MMA career. He has lost his last five outings, and when you face a man like Lytle, Gallant might be in over his head in this contest. The lines speak accordingly, because at -200, Lytle is the strongest favorite on the entire card.

Among the other American’s taking part, Melvin Guillard is simply known as the “Young Assassin.” Unfortunately, we have no lines listed for his bout, which is upsetting, although he will be strongly favored as well.

Guillard’s fight at BKB8 will arguably go down as the greatest bare knuckle fight of the new generation.

The bout between Eric Olsen and Scott Midgley really has some bad blood attached to it. In fact, they are simply labeling their match as “The Bad Blood Fight.”

I am laying some funds on Midgley to come away with the win in that contest for two reasons. The first reason being the price, because +135 is worth the value to me. The second reason is simply because if you can call yourself ‘Pretty Boy,’ you better back that up! I think he will!

Josh Burns is the other American trying to catch on to the BKB scene. The Hammer really hasn’t fared well in his professional career, losing four straight matches. His most recent loss came to Josh Parisian in a second round TKO at the TWC Pro Series. Burns comes in as a +150 dog in his bout with Michael Terrill, and he should be. Terrill is most likely going to come away with a win, but the price is not there.

So get ready for the return of Bare Knuckle Boxing, and get your plays in at the only site that offers such a thing. BetDSI Sportsbook is your source for all things BKB!
