It is UC’s second appearance at the prestigious tournament and its first since 2009, when the Bearcats won over Vanderbilt and Maryland before losing to Gonzaga in the final in overtime. Arizona has a 3-0 series advantage, as all of their previous encounters were place at neutral grounds (Honolulu in 1975, Phoenix in 1993 and 1996). Last year, the Wildcats received the top seed in the NCAA Tournament and advanced to the Sweet 16. Additionally, two of the top 12 winningest universities in NCAA history are Arizona and Cincinnati.
