Weekend Combat Sports Betting: Picks For Bellator 135 and Wrestlemania 31

The Combat Sports Betting video blog returns, where we place wagers from a fictitious account on selected bets for the weekend’s boxing and Mixed Martial Arts matches. This weekend, the bank sits at just over $5,300, and five bets are in the books putting close to $4,000 at risk.

The calendar has a lot of boxing on tap, as Thursday, Friday and Saturday all bring televised cards led by England’s Kell Brook vs Jo Jo Dan IBF World Welterweight title bout and the WBC Featherweight title bout between Jhonny Gonzalez and Gary Russell Jr.

Though there is no UFC on the slate for this weekend, MMA enthusiasts have Bellator 135 to kick around on Friday, as well as the World Series of Fighting 19 this Saturday.  Finally, for a unique and added twist, the World Wrestling Entertainment’s biggest show of the year, Wrestlemania 31 goes down on Sunday night.  News broke earlier in ther week that Brock Lesnar would not be returning to the UFC and had re-signed with WWE, meaning a lot of people who may have bet on Lesnar dropping the belt at the show may be wrong.  That line is closing quickly.
