Bellator 138 Odds: Ken Shamrock Meets Kimbo Slice In What Could Be Most Viewed Fight In Bellator History

This Friday at the Scottrade Center in Saint Louis, ancient rivals Ken Shamrock and Kimbo Slice meet in the main event of Bellator 138.  The fight is set to air on SpikeTV, and Bellator is banking on this being the biggest fight in their history, despite the respective ages of Shamrock (51) and Slice (41).  The match was originally scheduled to happen in October of 2008, when Shamrock was 43, but he was cut in the hours before the fight and was replaced by Seth Petruzelli, who went on to beat Slice in less than one minute.

The sport books have odds up for the main event, but the rest of the Bellator card has 13 scheduled fights, of which at least four or five more will be at the sport books closer to fight time.  Other than the gimmick main event, there are some fights with solid potential on this card, led by the featherweight co-main event featuring champion Patricio Freire (23-2) defending his title against Germany’s impressive Daniel Weichel (35-8).

The main card also features two former champions looking to get back on the winning track as former featherweight kingpin Daniel Straus  (22-6) faces undefeated Henry Corrales (12-0) and former lightweight champion Michael Chandler (12-3) faces Derek Campos (15-4).  Chandler in particular is in dire need of a win as he is currently on a three-fight losing streak.  Also on the card is massive pro-wrestler and part-time MMA fighter Bobby Lashley (12-2), as he faces late replacement Dan Charles (9-2).
