Bellator 143 Odds: Joe Warren Takes On L.C. Davis In Bantamweight Showdown

Champion Joe Warren is favored going into his bantamweight bout on Friday.

Bellator 143 hits Hidalgo, Texas this friday with a main event featuring former bantamweight champion Joe Warren and L.C. Davis.  For Warren, it is his first fight back since dropping the bantamweight title to Marcos Galvao in March of this year, while Davis has a three-fight winning streak going that will see him in the title picture if he can pull off a win here.

Warren has long been one of Bellator’s premier fighters, but the self-professed “World’s Most Dangerous Man” is now 38 years old and his aggressive style is not heavy on defense, so it remains to be seen if Warren has one more title run left in him.

The co-main event features two of Bellator’s most experienced fighters as Kendall Grove (21-15) faces Joey Beltran (16-11).  In his last outing, Grove was able to extend middleweight champion Brandon Halsey into the fourth round before succumbing. Beltran is 1-0 as a middleweight after toiling much of his career as a heavyweight and light heavyweight.

In a feature fight at featherweight, Henry Corrales (12-1) and Emmanuel Sanchez (10-2) both square off against each other coming of June of 2015 losses in the Bellator cage.  The final main card fight set to air on SpikeTV is the Brazilian heavyweight special between Ewerton Teixeira (3-0) and Vinicius Kapke de Quieroz.
