Anthony Gruppuso-USA TODAY Sports

The Brooklyn Nets (20-44) travel to Golden State to take on the Warriors (49-14) in what should be a fast-paced game. The game will air on YES Network at 10:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.

Golden State is a 14-point favorite on the opening line, while the game’s Over/Under (O/U) opened at 230 points.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Golden State Warriors ATS Prediction

In the Nets’ last game, they were topped by the Los Angeles Clippers, 123-120. Los Angeles was successful at getting to and converting from the free throw line. The Clippers made 25 of their 30 free throws (83.3 percent), while the Nets were 21-23 (91.3 percent). Caris LeVert was Brooklyn’s high scorer with 27 points on 11-for-19 shooting.

The Warriors defeated the Atlanta Hawks in their last matchup, 114-109. Golden State’s 0.241 free throw rate was their largest strength over Atlanta, who had a rate of 0.209. The Warriors’ mark was above their season average of 0.203. With 28 points and five assists, Golden State’s Kevin Durant played well.

Golden State could have their way on the offensive side of the ball as their prolific offense goes up against one of the NBA’s worst defenses. The Warriors rank first in offensive efficiency, while Brooklyn ranks 23rd in defensive efficiency.

Although Brooklyn has difficulty winning games straight up (20-44 SU), they have a respectable 36-27-1 record against the spread (ATS). Vegas has typically been fairly accurate when setting the O/U total of Nets games, with 35 unders compared to 29 overs.

Golden State has a superb 49-14 SU record, but they have a hard time covering the spread (27-33-3 ATS). Unlike Brooklyn, games involving the Warriors have finished over the total 52.4 percent of the time.

This is the second game of the season between these two teams. Stephen Curry scored a game-high 39 points in the first game, in which the Warriors defeated the Nets 118-111 but did not cover as 11.5-point favorites. He also put up 11 rebounds and seven assists. The game finished with a total of 229 points, which was just 0.5 points above the projected point total of 228.5 points. Golden State’s 0.567 effective field goal percentage was its largest strength over Brooklyn, who had a rate of 0.442.
