Finally, the Cleveland Browns are winning football games. Notably, they beat the Pittsburgh Steelers by a 21-7 score on Thursday Night in Cleveland. The Browns have gone three straight games without a turnover.
Obviously, there’s reason to be excited with the Browns at 4-6 and beating teams at home. However, there’s always something more to it with this franchise.
Of course, at the end of Thursday’s game and a meaningless play, Myles Garrett got nasty with Steelers’ quarterback Mason Rudolph. Really nasty.
1. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a QB get that involved in a fight.
2. This is Myles Garrett’s legacy now
(Remember Kyle Turley)3. This fight is ABSURD

As you can see, was ejected in the closing seconds of Thursday night’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers after ripping the helmet off quarterback Mason Rudolph and striking him in the head with it.
Evidenced below are screen caps of the incident.

Without question, a suspension is coming for Garrett following this incident. One must wonder what made Garrett snap like this. Here is what he had to say about it.
“What I did was foolish, and I shouldn’t allow myself to slip like that,” Garrett said. “That’s out of character, but a situation like that where it’s an emotional game, and I allowed myself to fall into those emotions with what happened.”
Equally important, Rudolph gave some thoughts on it following the game. His reaction was about what you would expect.
“I thought it was pretty cowardly,” Rudolph said of Garrett’s actions. “Pretty bush league.”
Moreover, the most telling sign that this was a very bad thing by Garrett was the reaction of his own quarterback Mayfield following the game.
Baker Mayfield on Myles Garrett’s Incident
Remember, Mayfield has been friends with Rudolph since college when the two played for Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. Therefore when asked about the incident, Mayfield didn’t make excuses.

“Obviously stuff like that is dangerous. So it was tough to see that, knowing Mason. It was tough to watch.”
Once the league rules on Garrett and suspends him for an indefinite length of time, we will follow up on this story. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns are still the Cleveland Browns; an embarrassment to themselves even on a night when they should be celebrating triumph. What is wrong with this organization?
