Bucknell Bison – Navy Midshipmen Preview – 02.27.2016

The Bucknell Bison (16-12) and the Patriot League’s top-ranked offense head to Navy to take on the Midshipmen (18-12) and the top-ranked defense in the conference. Action begins at 4:00 pm ET on Saturday, Feb. 27.

The Midshipmen are hoping to rebound after their 72-65 loss to American on Wednesday. Will Kelly was the game’s leading scorer with 22 points. The Bison, meanwhile, are coming off an 86-83 win against Lafayette on Wednesday. Chris Hass led the game in scoring by registering 30 points on 8-for-18 shooting.

Kelly has taken his game to another level over the last five games for the Midshipmen. During that stretch, he has averaged 15.0 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.0 steal, and 2.6 blocks.

This is the second game of the season between these two teams, with the Bison winning the first matchup 88-58. Hass had a standout performance in the victory, putting up 22 points, three rebounds, five assists, five steals, and three three-pointers.
