In the NBA, it is rare to see brothers playing on the same team. We had Marcus and Markieff Morris with the Phoenix Suns a few years ago, and now, the Milwaukee Bucks have Brook and Robin Lopez. The two centers are different types of players, but they can still make a lot of trouble for the opposing sides.

The Bucks lost in the Eastern Conference finals last season, but at the moment, they look like the strongest team in the conference and are one of the favorites for the 2019-20 NBA championship. They still have their main guy, Giannis Antetokounmpo, leading the charge following his MVP campaign last term. Milwaukee did lose Malcolm Brogdon to the Indiana Pacers in a move that surprised many, but Khris Middleton is around to help the Greek Freak in a title race.
Brook Lopez feels that the Bucks management made the right calls despite questions surrounding Milwaukee’s offseason moves this summer. In an interview with Hoopsworld, Brook talked about the Bucks chances for the upcoming season.
“It’s going to be fun! I know my mom is going to be all about it. She was born in Milwaukee and grew up there for a few years. Now, she’s going to be an official Milwaukee resident again. She’ll be there all season long, watching our games,” Lopez said.
Whether the Lopez twins will play simultaneously, remains to be seen, though. However, Brook can be a real threat from downtown, so it is a possibility. Robin is known to be a sturdy guy inside the paint and is better than Brook when it comes to defending the glass and grabbing offensive rebounds.
